Research

I’ve spent a lot of time in school. Here’s where some of it went.

My research focuses on healthcare operations, decision-making, and applied AI.

I study how complex healthcare data, especially unstructured information, can be transformed into useful signals for understanding how care is delivered and how systems can improve. My work spans problems in planning, scheduling, capacity allocation, and longitudinal care, with a focus on capturing variation in patient needs, treatment response, and service demand. Broadly, I use AI, analytics, and operations research to make healthcare systems more measurable and to support decisions that are more informed, efficient, and responsive to how patients actually move through care.
